Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle - Season 2, Episode 7

Another cracking episode of Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle with a wrap of the first five #NBL21 rounds, look ahead to the NBL Cup and of course the Player of the Year votes, #TheDamo thanks to Boomering and TABtouch Preview with Matty Knight.

So much to cover on this week's show and it all starts with hosts Chris Pike and Shawn Redhage looking back on the opening five rounds of the season as all nine clubs prepare to enter Melbourne for the NBL Cup. Who is well placed, who is in trouble and how things are shaping up.

We then talk about some of the big news of the week highlighted by Ryan Broekhoff signing with the South East Melbourne Phoenix and the Adelaide 36ers signing new import Brandon Paul, and what that means for the NBL.

We then discuss another hot topic and that is the court decals and The Scoring Machine provides some unique insight from his playing career before we turn our attention to the votes in the Hoops Heaven Player of the Year Award.

It's then time for #TheDamo Award with Damian Martin back to present the Boomering Best Defensive Player Award. He provides his latest votes for the best defenders in Round 5 while also providing some of his stories from life and basketball that make him one of Australia's all-time favourite athletes.

Next up and it's the TABtouch Preview for another week with Matty Knight on board to take a look at the NBL Cup, run his rule over the eight matches over the space of four days and make some bold predictions.
