We are now entering the final week at the NBL Cup with the trophy and prizemoney on the line and we dissect it all on Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle while Damian Martin is back with The Damo Boomering Award and we'll have the TABtouch Preview with Matty Knight.

NBL Writer Chris Pike and five-time NBL champion The Scoring Machine Shawn Redhage are back with another edition of Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle and it all begins with discussions around what we are seeing in the NBL Cup in Melbourne.

First off we discuss Tom Abercrombie's stunning game winner for the New Zealand Breakers against the Cairns Taipans with Shawn providing some unique insight into a man he went to war with on plenty of occasions. 

We then discuss the efforts of the South East Melbourne Phoenix to win while severely undermanned and dissect the struggles of both the Cairns Taipans and Illawarra Hawks.

Shawn talks about whether or not Melbourne United needs a second import and discusses the remarkable form of Nathan Sobey and how much it's influence from his Boomers snub.

We then provide an update on our Hoops Heaven Player of the Year award and we have a new leader.

It's then time for the Boomering Damian Martin Best Defensive Player Award with the NBL's all-time greatest defender breaking down what he's seeing at the NBL Cup, updating his leaderboard and previewing Sunday Dech's challenge against Nathan Sobey and Bryce Cotton.

We then move straight into the TABtouch Preview with triple NBL champion Matty Knight breaking down and previewing the rest of the action at the NBL Cup for us.

It's then back with Shawn Redhage to wrap up the show and to give his thoughts on the finish to the NBL Cup and also final thoughts on the New Zealand Breakers.
