We are back with another episode of Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle with Chris Pike and Damian Martin looking at everything in #NBL22 and beyond along with being joined by Adam Gibson.
Round 6 of the NBL only ended up having one game played but we break down that win for the New Zealand Breakers over the Brisbane Bullets with a Breakers big man named the winner of #TheGalen Award and also being talked about as a future NBA prospect.
Damian Martin also gives his thoughts on the situation between Breakers owner Matt Walsh and coach Dan Shamir before we discuss the COVID-related chaos across the league and how it's impacting teams, and who it might hurt or help the most along with a look at Rob Beveridge coaching the Australian Boomers.
We continue on this week's Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle by talking about Hoops Heaven's ambassadorship with Sami Whitcomb and work into more a discussion about the Perth Lynx, Brad Robbins and the WNBL in general.
Damian Martin gives his insights into Klay Thompson's return for the Golden State Warriors after two ruptured Achilles tendon injuries before we move into a preview of Round 7 in #NBL22.
During that preview, we are joined by two-time NBL champion and 460-game veteran Adam Gibson.
Damo and Gibbo start off by catching up and discussing the potential of Gibbo still play in this NBL season and what his plans are beyond that along with an update on the South East Melbourne Phoenix, Mitch Creek and COVID across the team and league.
After Damo races off, Gibbo stays for a chat about Anthony Petrie as NBL1 coach, his potential to play in the Boomers team next month, enjoying a break for the first time in forever over Christmas and New Year, and then he offers his insights for the rest of the Round 7 games and tells us how Adam Gibson 1 Basketball is going (www.adamgibson1.com).
