It's a jam packed Christmas episode of Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle where we breakdown another exciting and dramatic week in the NBL and speak to another former all-time great of the league for the first time, Alex Loughton.

Straight off the bat on this week's Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle, co-hosts Chris Pike and Damian Martin speak with 311-game NBL star, former Perth Wildcats big man and Cairns Taipans captain Alex Loughton.

Loughz provides his insights into how the Cairns Taipans are going early in the season including their big win over the Adelaide 36ers in Round 3. But it's a discussion about much more including his views on the big men in #NBL22 and then we do some reflecting on Loughz' career, talk about his post-basketball career, playing NBL1 North at Cairns Marlins, him joining the NBL television broadcast, and so much more.

Following that, Damo is back to breakdown everything we saw in Round 3 including a horror showing from the Sydney Kings but a worse one from the 36ers, the acting performance of Deng Deng, the shooting of Chris Goulding, returns of DJ Vasiljevic and Jack White, and a look at the potential of the three Wildcats imports.
