Different look through necessity on Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle this week but between Matty Knight, Scott Ninnis, Shawn Redhage and Brett Maher, we hope we satisfy your fix what's happening in the world of the NBL.
With regular co-host Cody Ellis struck by a bout of COVID, it's a bit of a makeshift Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle this week, but with 1471 NBL games and 14 championships between the four men on this week's show, Chris Pike is in good company to discuss everything #NBL23 and beyond.
First up on the show is three-time NBL champion Matty Knight to give his thoughts on what stood out to him in Round 9 of the NBL, to give his votes in the Player of the Year award and why he's so impressed with Milton Doyle and believing the Tasmania JackJumpers are just about title favourites.
He also talked about his battles over his career with Daniel Johnson who is set to play his 400th NBL game this Friday night with the Adelaide 36ers hosting the Perth Wildcats.
Speaking of the 36ers, two of the club's Hall of Famers Scott Ninnis and Brett Maher are up next. They both discuss the 400-game milestone of DJ as well as giving their thoughts on the Sixers' search for a third import and Scott selects his winner of #TheGalen Best Team Man in the NBL for Round 9.
The Scoring Machine Shawn Redhage then drops by to reflect on his remarkable career that will now see his No. 42 retired by the Perth Wildcats.
