First up on this week's Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle is a breakdown of everything that happened in Cairns when the power went out. We talk about playing in the Tropics with no air conditioning, if playing on was the right thing, the rundown the clock tactics of the Sydney Kings, why the Taipans can feel hard done by and why no shot clock can't happen again.
Next up and our attention turns to the Adelaide 36ers and the axing of CJ Bruton to be replaced by Scott Ninnis. We discuss Bruton's two and-a-half seasons, remarkable story of Ninnis returning to the job and then why Cody Ellis is well placed to talk about why management shouldn’t be getting involved in who does and doesn't play moving forward.
After our first break, we get stuck into what's happened over the South East Melbourne Phoenix with the release of import guard Will Cummings, arrival of former NBA forward Abdel Nader and how impressive their win was in Sydney with all that as a backdrop.
Next up is the New Zealand Breakers who saw their rollercoaster continue with a rough showing at home to the Tasmania JackJumpers with an 'Anthony Lamb Guarantee' that they will fix their rebounding woes.
From that same game, the JackJumpers were terrific despite Marcus Lee's struggles with Will Magnay coming up huge and then we discuss the merits of the Perth Wildcats struggling in a loss to the Illawarra Hawks in the absence of Tai Webster.
Following our last break, we get Simon Mitchell's winner of #TheGalen Best NBL Team Man, we get Damian Martin's Best Defensive Player votes, Matty Knight's Player of the Year votes and then we get stuck into a preview of Round 11 in #NBL24 and discuss the league's Multiverse uniforms and the standard of refereeing.
