Well the news was breaking surrounding the NBL Grand Final Series while recording of this week's Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle was taking the place setting the stage for quite the eventful episode.
The Writer Chris Pike and The Scoring Machine began the show discussing Games 2 and 3 of the Grand Final Series between the Sydney Kings and Perth Wildcats, with both teams winning on the opposition's home floor with the 'Cats taking a 2-1 series lead.
There was plenty to dissect include how playing in front of closed stadiums panned out and the hosts thoughts on that on top of how Andrew Bogut led Sydney to a Game 2 win while Nick Kay and Bryce Cotton did the same for Perth in Game 3.
There was then a discussion over the struggles of Casper Ware and Terrico White, and a look at the Jae'Sean Tate/Nick Kay power forward match up.
But then everything changed. News broke that the Sydney Kings wouldn't travel to Perth for Game 4 and the NBL had to cancel the rest of the series with the decision on the championship yet to be determined.
With that breaking news. Redhage offered his unique expert thoughts and analysis on the whole situation include what should be done with the championship, what other options could have been explored to avoid this outcome and most importantly, what decisions just can't be made in relation to the championship.
Redhage also touches on the impact on his SBL season with the Perry Lakes Hawks in a jam packed second last episode for the season of Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle.
